With that being said, I absolutely love it here at Virginia Tech. I don't think you'd be able to find a tighter sense of community, in such a large university, anywhere else. VT is truly one of a kind! I never thought it was possible to be a part of such an awesome community. I truly do feel at home here. I think it took me all of two days to get adjusted and comfortable on campus. I'm sure it helps that my brother is on campus as well, so I get to see him regularly. That being said, I definitely miss my family and my puppy dog back home!
These girls are my everything! Claire is to the right, and is the best roomie in the world. I got super lucky! We always joke that we actually don't like each other at all, and it's all just an act. Meaghan is to the left, and is the biggest extrovert I've ever met. She always knows how to make me feel better! She's definitely the mom of the group, and keeps all of us in line and out of trouble.
Claire and I went to the farmer's market downtown on Wednesday after classes. She bought these gorgeous flowers that are now brightening up our dorm!
Stay tuned for a post on the Hunter Hayes concert!
