A Week in Review

Happy Saturday! It's been such an exciting and busy week. Here's my week in review...

Home From Camp

(How 'bout that camp hair??)

This week was my first week home from camp. Although I'm happy to be back in my own bed, I miss the amazing people I got to spend two weeks with! It was absolutely freezing two of the days I was at camp. On those freezing days I never changed out of my sweatshirt and sweatpants, and had my VT blanket wrapped around me for the majority of the morning.

Vans

(Apparently I can't tell my left shoe from my right. My bad...)

I purchased my first pair of Vans this week. I've been debating purchasing a pair of Converse for years, however, I never really found them comfortable or understood the hype. When I came across a pair of white Vans at DSW they immediately caught my eye, they are SO comfortable. I found them online for $48 and decided they'd be the perfect shoe to wear while walking around campus.

Amazon Prime Day

First round of deliveries! (plus a Target delivery)

My mom and I definitely lucked out during Amazon Prime Day on July 12. The day started with scoring the Däv rain boots pictured above for only $20. These boots are by far the comfiest pair of boots I've ever owned. It's no wonder they're a celeb favorite! The soft, fleece lining and memory foam inserts even give the comfort of my tennis shoes a run for their money!

J. Crew Fun

Chauffeuring my brother on a Pokémon Go run around town (#BestSisterEver) led to a quick stop at +J.Crew to check out their end-of-season sale. Although this shirt wasn't part of the sale, J. Crew offers a great student discount that we took full advantage of. At the beginning of the shopping trip he was wearing a, "Bad decisions make for good stories" t-shirt, so this button down was a welcome change.

I also found these these J. Crew jeans, and haven't been able to get them out of my mind! They were part of the sale, but I decided against even trying them on because they were still $59.99.

The Scout Guide Charlottesville; Volume 8

I've had the pleasure of working for the amazing designer of GotRocks Jewelry, Tricia Humphreys, for the past two months. She is featured in the most recent issue of The Scout Guide Charlottesville in the Movers and Makers section. The Scout Guide has 60+ city guides across the U.S. you can check and see if there is one for your town here.
